The author of the film is Andrzej Jastrzębski – a jazz tuba player, photography and old car enthusiast – who immortalized family memories using a Zenit camera and an 8 mm camera. Part 1 Film shot during a family holiday in Dębki in 1984. Andrzej and Ewa together with their children are spending time on the beach and at the campsite. Andrzej is practicing playing the tuba in the open air. Diana, the filmmaker’s daughter, is playing on the beach with the other children and swimming in a small inflatable canoe. During the holidays, Ewa’s sister and her family visited the family; they were holidaying in nearby Karwia. While at the seaside, the family also celebrated Diana’s name day. Part of the holiday trip also included picking blueberries at a fruit plantation in Bielawskie Blota. Part. 2 Diana and her sister Marianna are skating on the skating rink in Sadyba and in front of the block of flats in Stegny. Part. 3 Diana is learning to ride a bike, Marianna is running behind the bike, belaying her sister. (AT)
