Łeba, 1974. The resort of the Construction and Service Company “Dźwigar”. At that time, it was an intimate, seaside town, more of a fishing village than a tourist town – there was no infrastructure, the beaches were unregulated. The family spent their days on the beach, where they had previously prepared sandwiches. In the film, we can see six-year-old Katarzyna Górna – a girl runs on the beach, creates structures made of bricks and sand, washes her face and hands in the bowl with water. These activities are accompanied by a characteristic toy ship pulled on a string.
