description

The author of the film is Maciej Drygas – the initiator of the Polish Archive of Home Films, a film and radio director, screenwriter, professor at the Leon Schiller Film School in Łódź.
After graduating from the Directing Department of the Institute of Cinematography in Moscow (WGIK), he worked as an assistant of Krzysztof Zanussi and Krzysztof Kieślowski. His films and radio programmes have been broadcast and awarded all over the world.

The film was made in 1975 at Tadeusz Kościuszko III High School in Łódź with a Soviet quarz camera borrowed from a friend. The humorous material was later displayed during the prom. A Russian teacher enters a classroom and sits down at her desk. According to the board inscription written by one of the students, during this lesson students will be writing a test in Russian. Once the test begins, all students start cheating. One of the boys receives a note from a friend. Instead of the expected hints, the note contains a confession of love. The teacher stops students and takes away all sorts of ingeniously hidden crib sheets. During the break, the boys smoke cigarettes and have breakfast in the men’s toilet. A history teacher enters the room, who wants to catch students breaking the rules, but they have managed to hide. Amused high school students run out of the hides one by one.
