description

The author of the film is Antoni Milewski, who filmed the family-life events with a quarz zoom camera, bought in a Kielce photoshop.

Part 1

The film was shot in the autumn of 1971 in the town of Umer near Kielce. Antoni together with Mr. Julian, his daughter (Basia), and his grandson (Marcin) lights a fire in the forest (belonging to Mr. Julian). Little Marcin approaches Antoni, who films him, and makes faces at the camera. Between the trees, we can also see a parked Syerna 105 in bahama yellow colour. Syrena, perceived then as a dream car, often appears in the films. Mr. Julian managed to get the car for a voucher, which he received as a meritorious employee. Marcin digs up a molehill and proudly poses for the camera. Adults try to light a fire.

As the author of the film recalls, appearing from time to time, Mr. Julian was a gunsmith and an expert in hunting weapons. The man also had exceptional manual skills, which he used to repair weapons and to make new parts.

When the campfire is over, everyone gets into the car and drives away.

Part 2

The film was probably made in 1970 in Mr. Julian’s apartment. Little Marcin plays with various toys, opens the window and, belayed by his dad, looks at the street. Adults talk at a table, on which there are snacks and a bottle of tincture. Marcin dances with his mother and aunt in a circle.
