Part 1
Film shot around 1938 in Zalesie Dolne (Adamów) near Warsaw. The Szypowskis, together with their friends and children, spend their free time at the allotment. One of the family’s friends was Jan Szypowski’s uncle (his mother Maria’s brother) Ignacy Dembicki (1870–1942) – one of the organisers and main physicians of the Ciechocinek spa facility, author of the publication ‘Ciechocinek: remedies, ways and extent of their use and indications’. Adults and children dance around a bonfire, holding hands, and later record a humorous bit of film in which they all leave the car one by one. One of the women hides by the cottage while playing. Jan Szypowski carries his daughter Krysia on his shoulders. The girls feed the goats. Shots of the immediate area and the wooden house on the plot. Janek plays with a ball and climbs trees.

Part. 2
Film made in the spring of 1937 or 1938. Maria with her daughter Krysia and son Mirek walk in Dreszera Park. The family lived at that time in the close vicinity of the park, at 64 Ursynowska Street. Mirek is playing with a bow and Krysia is leading a doll trolley through the park alleys. Shots of a plane flying over the city. Maria smiles at the camera.
