description |
The author of the film is Zbigniew Hassa. Since the age of 14, he had worked as an electrician in Warsaw Trams (then MZK). When his daughters, Joanna and Katarzyna, were born, he decided to start filming events from the life of the family. The film is an account of the Hassa family’s stay at their summer place in Kajetany. Irena Hassa with her daughters (Joasia and Kasia) accompanied by their family [Irena’s brother (Wojciech Pruszkowski), his wife (Agnieszka), their son (Maciek)] talk next to the construction site of the house. Next to the pile of white bricks, there is a tourist table. Irena pours a drink from a bottle into a cup and serves it to the boy. Irena, Joasia and Kasia eat at the tourist table. Not far from the construction site of the house, there is a pitched tent. Irena rolls up a rope. Joasia cleans up the interior of the tent. Kasia dances next to it. A shot of both girls sitting on the grass with a guinea pig named Piggy. The girls feed Piggy grass. A shot of a house under construction adjacent to the plot and its owners. Kasia sits on the grass with her mother and sister and cries, holding her wrist. Joasia hugs her. Kasia shows her mother a sore finger. (PB) |
