description |
Antoni Matuszny, who came from the Beskid village of Laliki, was interested in photography since he was a child. As he recalls, he wanted to save the life of his family and the countryside in the 1970s from oblivion. At the age of thirteen, he bought the first camera, and when he was 24 – the camera of the Soviet Quarz 5. Film made in 1980 in Cięcina. Part 1 Shots from the window of neighborhood children pouring water over each other on Easter Monday. Part 2 A pregnant Elżbieta leaves the school building in Cięcina Górna, where she worked as a mathematics teacher, and gets into a parked car. Part 3 Antoni’s father Ludwik drives the manure on cart to Elżbieta ‘s parents’ greenhouse. Antoni distributes the manure around the greenhouse with a wheelbarrow. (KN, AT)
