Antoni Matuszny, who came from the Beskid village of Laliki, was interested in photography since he was a child. As he recalls, he wanted to save the life of his family and the countryside in the 1970s from oblivion. At the age of thirteen, he bought the first camera, and when he was 24 – the camera of the Soviet Quarz 5. At the age of thirteen, he bought his first camera, and when he was 24, he bought a Soviet quarz 5 camera. The film was shot in December 1976 and 1977 in Laliki Kubaszczyce. A winter panorama of the area recorded from the window of Antoni’s room. The family shares the wafer at Christmas Eve dinner. Sitting at the Christmas table are Antoni, his parents Paulina and Ludwik Matuszny and sister Anna with husband Marian Brączyk and daughters Barbara, Teresa and Bernadka.
