Leszek Krzeszowiak was a skier (among others a Polish vice-champion in slalom in 1949 in Karpacz), ski coach, academic lecturer, judge, director of the Department of Judges and General Skiing in the Polish Ski Association. He was also passionate about filming sports and important events, not only family events. The pictures were shot with the Czechoslovak Admira 16 mm camera.
This film was recorded in 1961 in Wrocław, on the 50th anniversary of the marriage of the parents of the author’s wife, Barbara Krzeszowiak. People leave the church after the mass and go down the stairs. The heroes of the day get into the car. The large family and guests gather and pose for photos in the garden. A part of the family, resettled from Lviv, lived in Wrocław. The men look under the hood of the car with interest. A scene in the interior of sister Elżbieta’s apartment in Wrocław. Her brother, Ryszard, looks at books standing on the bookcase.
