The author of the film is Jarosław Krajewski (born in 1952 in Poznań). As a teenager, he received his first camera as a gift from his parents. Since then, he has filmed important events and family life: weddings, holiday trips to the Powidz area, as well as his daughters, Paula and Zuzanna, growing up. Jarosław was interested in journalism. In his youth, he belonged to the Club of Youth Journalists (KDM), later he worked, among others, in the office and the company newspaper in a furniture factory and as a tour guide in Europe. He currently lives in Edinburgh, Scotland.

A short shot of two men walking down the street. Participants of the trip sit on folding chairs, talk and smoke cigarettes. In the background, there is a parked car with all the doors open. A girl leans out of the window and smiles at Jarosław, who films her. A family walk. Tomasz (Jarosław’s brother) with his parents stands by the car and makes faces at the camera. The family walks in the forest, Albin and Kazimiera (Jarosław’s parents) hug each other and give each other kisses. Tomek walks next to them and waves a mushroom basket. The family walks among other walkers. Albin embraces Kazimiera and his son. The walkers are joined by Jarosław, who previously filmed his parents with Tomek. Excavations on the field in Strzałkowo. Boys in white shirts play in a cobbled street.

Part 3

(husband of Albin’s sister), cousins and friends of Albin and Kazimiera. Shots from the campsite. Some people spend time by the car and eat sandwiches. A few boys play a little further, digging a large pit in the sand. The boys make faces at the camera. The family has dinner on folding chairs by the car with a makeshift kitchen in the trunk. Boys and men play football together. Mosaic of genre scenes. Close-ups of a boy smoking a pipe.

Part 4
An account of a trip near Powidz in the summer of 1966. As Jarosław recalls, these were the beginnings of getting used to the camera and one of the first scenes recorded by him. Camping by the lake, two men and a boy sit at a folding table. A group of friends spend time on a small beach. The men carry one of the women towards the lake and try to throw her into the water.
