The author of the film is Andrzej Jastrzębski – a jazz tuba player, photography and old car enthusiast – who immortalized family memories using a Zenit camera and an 8 mm camera. Film shot during a family holiday in Dębki in 1980. Andrzej and Ewa’s daughters, Sabina and Marianna, are assembling a car boot in the car park in front of their block of flats in Warsaw’s Stegny district and mount it on a Fiat 125p, then they are packing their luggage and together with their dad prepare the car and caravan for departure. During a break on their journey, the family is eating a meal on the grass. On the way to Dębki, the Jastrzębscy are stopping at Żarnowieckie Lake. Sabina and Marianna are helping her parents to prepare food and go boating on the lake together with their dad. After arriving at the seaside, the family spends time on the beach. The older sisters are playing in the sand and swimming in the sea, Ewa is changing a nappy of her youngest daughter Diana on a blanket. (AT)
