The author of the film is Andrzej Jastrzębski – a jazz tuba player, photography and old car enthusiast – who immortalized family memories using a Zenit camera and an 8 mm camera.
The film was recorded during a trip to Norway with daughter Sabina in 1989. During the trip, Sabina and her dad relax in the parking lot, drinking hot tea and listening to the radio.
The family is preparing to leave the parking lot in the housing estate, the children get on the caravan bus, and Ewa (Andrzej’s wife) with her daughter Marianna puts a pram with the youngest child in it. Ewa’s mother, Zofia, with her second daughter, Maria, and children leave the shop in Saska Kępa. The family takes Zofia and Sabina to the airport to fly to the United States.
Andrzej’s son, Lech, is playing with a ball with a friend on a concrete pitch.
Sabina is sunbathing on a blanket by the caravan bus; next to her, Lech, her brother, is playing on the grass.
