The author of the film is Bohdan Kowalski, who works as a Polish language teacher by day. His passions were travelling, film and photography. He was also co-founder of the Ińsko Film Summer, the University of the Third Age and the Film Discussion Club in Stargard. Film shot in the 1970s during a visit to the Royal Castle reconstruction site in Warsaw. A group of young people with wheelbarrows tidy up an overgrown garden. Shots from the reconstruction site – most of the Castle’s walls are covered by wooden scaffolding where work is in progress. Students also visit the unfinished interiors of the building and view a model of the Castle. (AT) |
