description	Zbigniew Bełżecki (1914–2009) worked by day as a chemist in the research department of the Cracow Pharmaceutical Plant “Polfa”. His film archive consists of records of trips with his wife Jadwiga and daughter Marzena, as well as motorcycle trips around Europe. The trips were always preceded by long preparations, and after their completion Zbigniew wrote down the recorded audio diaries and created books from them on his own. He was also passionate about nature and photography. Second part of the account of Zbigniew’s trip from Krakow to Greece, Italy and France. (The first video of the trip is the next material in the collection – PAFD_0006_015). The man travels from Brindisi to Paestum, recording Mediterranean nature and landscapes along the way. Once there, Zbigniew views the ruins of ancient temples, visits a shop selling local clay products and spends time on the beach. The next stop of the trip are Pompeii and Naples. A mosaic of genre scenes of city life – busy streets, harbour and market stands. In Pozzuoli near Naples, a man watches solfataras (volcanic vents). A woman and a man drive in a car, Zbigniew films his fellow passengers and the road from the back seat. The woman walks through the park and looks at the sculptures there, later she and a friend drink beer in the garden of a café and ride a motorbike. Shots of market stands. Zbigniew’s friend lies in a pitched tent, in front of which a motorbike and bicycle can be seen standing. The woman lived in Italy and occasionally joined the traveling Zbigniew. Heading north in Italy, Zbigniew visits the Capre cave in San Felice Circeo. The last destination on the tour is Rome – the woman views the Trevi fountain and sits on a stone lion.
