Janusz Dybkowski (1954–2003) was a photographer and journalist who collaborated with numerous editorial offices, including “Tygodnik Piotrkowski” and “Dziennik Łódzki”. In Piotrków, he documented significant local events and the daily life of the city. His film collection consists of both footage of family life and documentary materials.

A group of a dozen or so people receives medals and diplomas. One can see men giving speeches and people seated in the audience. After the speeches, men approach a line of people to pin medals and hand out diplomas. One of the awarded women delivers a speech from the podium using a microphone. A shot of a long table where men and women of all ages are seated. Award recipients leave the table to receive their diplomas.
