A large crowd has gathered in the town square. They watch and admire performances by folk groups. Many spectators are also watching from open windows and balconies of the tenement houses surrounding the square. The performances are met with loud applause. Later, children, youth, and scout groups also take the stage. In the park square, students draw on the sidewalk and play blind man’s buff. A shot of a fire brigade orchestra playing. A shot of display cases from an exhibition dedicated to glassworks, a mining machinery factory, and other industrial plants.
