description	This collection of films was recorded by a married couple, Paweł and Joanna Morzyszek. Amateur films shot on 8 mm and Super 8 film reels document family life: celebrations, holidays, vacations, and travels. The archive covers materials from a 20-year period, from 1968 to 1988, which allow us to follow the growing up of Paweł and Joanna’s children – Ewa and Tomek – and their granddaughters – Agata and Anna. Part 1 A woman – presumably Joanna Morzyszek – gets into a Wartburg car parked in front of an apartment block. Two mixed-breed dogs are walking on the snow-covered lawn nearby. Part 2 Two teenage boys – Tomek and his friend – are playing hockey on the local ice skating rink. Later, other children join them. Part 3 Various scenes from a summer trip to Ciechocinek. A group of vacationers sets up a picnic by the road at the forest’s edge. The camera observes a group of teenagers and adult women having a meal. A large dog runs around the resting people. Later, the same group goes to a swimming pool. There, the cameraman watches people swimming and resting by the pool. Then the camera moves to the park, where it captures peacocks, and to the Snozka Pass to film Władysław Hasior’s Organs. Further shots were taken in Szczawnica and its surroundings. Among the buildings, one can recognize the local health resort with the Haneczka café. Joanna Morzyszek buys strings of dried mushrooms from an elderly woman. Part 4 Shots from a horse fair. Part 5 Shots of the park surrounding the castle in Łańcut. The camera captures the building’s facade, outbuildings, and garden. Part 6 A brief shot of a family with a dog standing in front of a modernist building. (WO)
