description	This collection of films was recorded by a married couple, Paweł and Joanna Morzyszek. Amateur films shot on 8 mm and Super 8 film reels document family life: celebrations, holidays, vacations, and travels. The archive covers materials from a 20-year period, from 1968 to 1988, which allow us to follow the growing up of Paweł and Joanna’s children – Ewa and Tomek – and their granddaughters – Agata and Anna. Part 1 A blurry shot of a young woman – presumably Ewa Morzyszek – applying suntan oil on the beach. Part 2 The camera captures a British Airways aircraft taxiing on the tarmac. Small airport service vehicles and shuttles are moving around. Passengers are getting off a shuttle bus – one of the women waves at the camera. Later, the camera records a group of well-dressed people talking in the open air. Joanna and Tomek Morzyszek can be recognized among them. Strong wind is blowing their hair. One of the women is holding a bouquet. The group gets into cars. Part 3 Various shots of summer leisure: the family sitting at a table in front of the house on a sunny day, a group of vacationers preparing for swimming or sunbathing – with Ewa and another teenage girl already in their swimsuits – Tomek posing in front of Kórnik Castle, a portrait of a girl wearing glasses, red geraniums, Joanna and another woman on the balcony embracing each other warmly and smiling at the camera, the family packing the car trunk. Part 4 A series of shots of a postharvest field. The camera captures the landscape with sheaves and women posing in front of them. One of them is Joanna Morzyszek. Part 5 Joanna exits an apartment building accompanied by two women. The camera captures them talking and laughing. In subsequent shots, Paweł Morzyszek replaces Joanna. Later, the two women get into a car – a Ford Cortina – and drive away. (WO)
