description	This collection of films was recorded by a married couple, Paweł and Joanna Morzyszek. Amateur films shot on 8 mm and Super 8 film reels document family life: celebrations, holidays, vacations, and travels. The archive covers materials from a 20-year period, from 1968 to 1988, which allow us to follow the growing up of Paweł and Joanna’s children – Ewa and Tomek – and their granddaughters – Agata and Anna. Part 1 The camera captures a May Day parade making its way through the city streets. The cameraman picks out various family members from the marching crowd: Paweł, Ewa, and Tomek Morzyszek. Part 2 The family is relaxing at a summer resort in Sulejów. Joanna and her daughter are reading newspapers, while two boys are playing badminton. One of them – Tomek – is wearing a cast on his leg. He is fooling around and showing the leg to the camera. Ewa hugs her mother and kisses her on the cheek. Paweł Morzyszek joins the family – now it is him who is posing for the camera with Joanna. The younger boy is fooling around behind them. At the end of the sequence, the family is packing into the car. Part 3 An elderly woman and a teenage girl are sunbathing on deck chairs. The elderly woman sticks her tongue out at the camera. In the next shot, a large shaggy shepherd dog joins them. Part 4 Two women are walking with a dog in the forest. One of them has picked a pine sapling and is showing it to the camera. Then they both pose for the lens. Part 5 The camera captures a family walk in Zakopane. It shows the mountain landscape in its characteristic spring attire – crocuses emerging from the melting snow on the mountain meadows. The family is basking in the sun. The following frames show them visiting local attractions – stalls with woolen sweaters, the Gubałówka ski lift, the Chapel of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in Jaszczurówka, and Morskie Oko lake. (WO)
