description	This collection of films was recorded by a married couple, Paweł and Joanna Morzyszek. Amateur films shot on 8 mm and Super 8 film reels document family life: celebrations, holidays, vacations, and travels. The archive covers materials from a 20-year period, from 1968 to 1988, which allow us to follow the growing up of Paweł and Joanna’s children – Ewa and Tomek – and their granddaughters – Agata and Anna. The film was shot in 1978 and 1979. Part 1 Shots taken at the summer plot in Włodzimierzów. Ewa is sunbathing in a deck chair, with grandmother resting some distance away. Jacek and Paweł are cutting down a tree in front of the house, with Joanna watching them. Jacek sits down on a blanket and adjusts the radio. Ewa joins him, hugs and kisses him. Jacek is washing himself in a basin, Ewa helps him rinse the soap off his back. Part 2 Shots taken in Zakopane during winter. Joanna stands in front of the house, Ewa and Jacek are having a snowball fight. Various town scenes showing the streets of Zakopane and crowded market stalls. Jacek, Ewa, and Joanna are walking along a snow-covered road. Part 3 Shots from a mountain trail taken in summer. A group of tourists, including Ewa, Jacek, Tomek, Joanna, and grandmother, are resting on a bench. A view of the mountain landscape. Joanna walks along the path. Part 4 Joanna is talking to a small group of boys wearing traditional Highland folk costumes. (WO)
