The author of the film is Zbigniew Hassa. Since the age of 14, he had worked as an electrician in Warsaw Trams (then MZK). When his daughters, Joanna and Katarzyna, were born, he decided to start filming events from the life of the family.
The continuation of the account of the First Communion of Kasia. Open-air shots. Shots from outside the church of St. Anne in Wilanów: a close-up of Kasia, who stands among other girls in Communion dresses. We can also see a nun and numerous parents. Among them, there is Irena. The girls put their hands in prayer. Children enter the church behind altar servers, who carry the cross, and a priest. Kasia greets her family in front of the church. Shot from Zbigniew’s moving car. His family walks along the cemetery wall and waves to the filmmaker. Shots on the estate. Joasia approaches the parked yellow Fiat 125p (a “Duży Fiat”, whose owner was Józef, Zbigniew’s brother-in-law), opens the door and helps her sister, dressed in a Communion dress, to get off. Shot from the bottom. Family members stand on the balcony and wave at the camera. Kasia, surrounded by her family, walks down a street. She is accompanied by Zbigniew’s brother (Leszek) and Zbigniew’s sister (Elżbieta) with their families. Shots from outside the church of St. Anne. Shots taken during the so-called “white week”. Irena goes with both daughters, leading Kasia, dressed in a Communion dress, by the hand. Shots from outside the church of St. Anne. A nun, holding a candle in her hands, divides the girls in pairs. Boys and girls in Communion attire leave the church.
