Part 1
The film was made during a holiday trip to Sopot probably in 1978 or 1979. A family walk on the Sopot pier. In the background, we can see the Grand Hotel and resting sunbathers. A shot of the queue to the ticket offices at the pier. Barbara and her daughters pose for the camera near the sea. Ryszard walks with the girls along Monciak, a tourist street in Sopot. Karina sits in a stroller. Ania dances on the sidewalk. Then she tries to stroke a little monkey sitting in a cab with a pony. A visit to the zoo. The girls watch the animals. Karina falls asleep in her stroller. Barbara walks with her daughters in the park. Karina clumsily walks along the park path belayed by her dad. The sisters play on the beach.

Part 2
The film was made in Washington in 1974. A shot of the Capitol and a police officer directing traffic. Ryszard and Ania climb the stairs leading to the Capitol. Barbara with Ania and her younger daughter, Karina, in her arms goes down the stairs. The panorama of the Ulysses S. Grant Equestrian Monument and the Washington Monument. Shots from outside the building of the National Museum of Aviation and Space. The family explores the city by car and stops, among others, near the John F. Kennedy Center for Performing Arts, the Watergate building complex, and the State Department building. Shots of Washington residents and Ryszard Tryc smoking a pipe on the sidewalk. Ryszard pushes a stroller with Karina. Next to him, there is Ania, his elder daughter. An account of the visit of the First Secretary of the Central Committee of the PZPR, Edward Gierek, in Washington. Ryszard in a suit holds Ania’s hand. We can also see other guests and soldiers dressed for the gala gathered in front of the White House. Welcoming politicians. An orchestra plays. Edward Gierek and the President of the United States, Gerald Ford, speak from the rostrum. Gerald Ford and Edward Gierek with his wife, Stanisława Gierek, wave to the gathered people from the balcony of the Blue Room in the White House. Shots of people, the politicians leave the White House. The Secretary solemnly lays a wreath of flowers at the monument of Tadeusz Kościuszko, accompanied by soldiers.

Part 3
Excerpt from a black-and-white subtitled film dedicated to the tradition of visiting the White House. The film shows the interiors of the building and numerous visitors.
