Ryszard Cypryjański documented his family life with a camera borrowed from a colleague at the Selfa Electroheating Production Plant in Szczecin.

Part 1

The film was made in the summer of 1972 in Szczecin. Ryszard Cypryjański together with his father (Józef) walk along the link between Wojska Polskiego Avenue and Piotra Ściegiennego and Królowej Jadwigi Streets. At the intersection of these streets, there was a fountain, demolished in the 90s, called by the inhabitants of the city “Wailing Wall”.

Part 2

The film was made in Gryfice in 1971 or 1972. Ryszard’s son (Jacek) walks with his grandfather (Józef) and his grandmother’s cousin (Stanisław Bukowski). The grandpa takes the boy for ice cream to a confectionery on Mickiewicza Street. During the walk, the men talk and smoke cigarettes.

Part 3

Józef with his wife (Ewa), Janina Rojewska (seasonal worker) and Stanisław work on his garden farm at Kamieńska Street in Gryfice.
